❗Attention All Local Artists and Creatives!🎨

As part of the Newton300 celebrations taking place next year, Grantham Town Council is looking to commission a legacy piece to commemorate this special occasion.

We would love to fund a local creative who will design, create and install something that celebrates both Sir Isaac Newton's connection to Grantham and the town's rich heritage. The piece could take any form, including a statue, sculpture, painting, or another creative installation, ready for January 2027.

Please send your full proposal, plans, timescales and estimated costs to clerk@granthamtowncouncil.org by Monday 27 July 2026.

Proposals will be considered by the Leisure and Culture Committee at its meeting on Thursday 30 July 2026.
